One other question,

I see that there is a watch in HDX and a Download in HDX option for movies. I don't imagine the watch in HDX will expire if the code was redeemed before the expiration date but is the Download option ever taken off servers or something?

Sometimes you will receive the theatrical and unrated version of a film, but no extras as of yet. Maybe in the future though! Downloads do not expire as far as I'm aware.

A few movies have come with features-
Green Lantern came with a bonus animated movie (Green Lantern: Emerald Knights)
Dark Knight Rises from Best Buy came with Dark Knight Reborn
from Walmart came with some of the Batmobile documentary
Dark Knight came with the opening scene of tDKR
Snow White and the Huntsman came with a bunch of features (at Vudu anyway)
The Hunger Games came with two or three featurettes (at Vudu)

I read in the FAQ that if wish to get a Disc to digital conversion done at Walmart, the fee is $2 per Blu-ray™ disc to convert to High Definition with Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound (‘HDX’).

This isn't the same or equivalent to DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, correct? However, for UV codes that come with the film, say Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, will the Audio be DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 as listed in the Blu-ray specs or are all UV copies in Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound?

DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 requires a lot of bandwidth to stream so no, you get dolby 5.1

I NEED HELP!!! For whatever reason my Flixster account is not working on any of the devices I use. I am logged in, but unable to play any movie. I have sent numerous emails and they have been no help. This is the one and only response that I got from them and it does not work. Every time I click unlink UV account it brings right back to the same page to unlink again.

The authorization for Flixster to access your UltraViolet account has expired. To resolve the problem, go to the Account page when logged in on the Flixster website. You will see an option to unlink your UltraViolet account. When you unlink and re-link your account, the authorization will automatically be reset.

UV has not been much help at all as well. This is the one and only response that I got from them and it does not work.

If you are unable to link your account from the Flixster
side or you receive a message that states “This UltraViolet Account is already linked to another Flixster Account,” please log in to UltraViolet ((http://www.uvvu.com/))
and go to Member Details (top right, in the dropdown under your Username.) Click on Linked Services, click on Remove this Link on each of the Flixster sections. Then click on Save Changes at the bottom. Then go to Account Settings and uncheck all boxes within
the Flixster sections. Click on Save Changes and then Sign Out of your UltraViolet account. Return to your Flixster Account section and link your UltraViolet account.ster sections. Kind of a odd question. Does anyone have first hand experience on redeeming Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection? Does it redeem in UV HD if its from a DVD? I'm trying to buy the iTunes only code. The UV was redeemed already and it was HD. So basically, if it redeems from DVD in SD then I know its from a blu. If anyone could give me a 100% answer, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes the easiest way to remove the link is to do it at UV's website, follow these instructions:

1. Go to UVVU.com and login to your account.
2. Go to OUR ACCOUNT
3. Click on your username/self
4. Click linked services
5. Find Flixster on this page and use the "removal this link" to remove it (there may be multiple links)

That should remove the link and then you can relink the account at Flixster.

No, it shouldn't redeem as HD for UV.

DVD = SD UV copy
Blu-ray = HD UV copy

I would think the same applies to iTunes, but I know most iTunes codes, except newer ones, only redeemed as SD. That is regardless of the source.

Any one noticed how some movies like Contagion/Hangover II stream in HDX on my PS3 via the Vudu app yet can only be streamed in SD on a PC. Any one know the reason for this?

Quick question, I have a few movies I bought/redeemed through Vudu, and they are not showing up in either the UltraViolet library or in Flixster, just showing up in Vudu. The movies that are having this issue are Hurt Locker, Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace.

This problem isn't an issue of the movies not being able to be streamed through Flixster, these movies just plain do not appear listed in either the UltraViolet library or Flixster collection. Only appearing in the Vudu library.

Any ideas why this happens? All my movies from CinemaNow and Flixster appear listed in the UltraViolet library, and all the movies I have from the Vudu disc-to-digital program, and a bunch of other movies redeemed through Vudu appear listed in UltraViolet, just not these three movies.

those 3 movies arent UV enabled yet, not UV next to studio name so they wont appear in your locker

Appreciate the answer, any idea why certain movies are not enabled yet? It shows Skyfall as being enabled when it releases early on 02/05/13, but not the two prior Bond films.

I have a random question for you all. I recently came across some cheap CinemaNow credit and wanted to buy the Back to the Future Trilogy in UV form. I bought the first movie but the other 2 claim to not be UV compatible. I know buying via Vudu gives UV copies. Is this just a mistake in the listing on CinemaNow or are the movies there just not going to be UV? Are there other situations like this where movies are UV compatible for one retailer and not another (aside from HBO tv shows)?

There are quite a few on CinemaNow that are NOT UV but are on Vudu.
Jurassic Park is one that comes to mind..buy it through CinemaNow and it's not UV but on Vudu it is. After I bought it on Vudu it did show up in my CinemaNow library though.

I'm trying to DL a few digital copies into my iTunes. Anyone notice if the iTunes store is down? I was able to DL the movie Flight which doesn't require a disc. However, I was trying to DL "We Bought a Zoo & Inglourious Basterds" which requires a disc and it's not uploading.

I'm getting the Error 5002, store is temporary down.

I'm getting the same thing when trying to redeem Peter Pan. I guess I will try again tomorrow.
