Watched: Edge of Darkness. Great movie, but just not quite up there with the mini-series.

Anyone here used bluraysforeveryone.com? There are a couple of retailer exclusive titles coming up and i wanted to know if these guys are worth a shot.
Cheers

Kicked off tonight's viewing with The Dark Knight Rises. My first time viewing it at home after my three theatre visits. Love the film and as a Batman fan the realisation of a complete Batman story on screen is great. Gets better with each viewing in my opinion too and despite the claims of all these plot holes I'm not convinced any of them really are. Picture quality was excellent and mirrored my theatrical experiences. It was definitely based around the IMAX print as it had the same characteristics. Audio was huge. Some dynamics were sacrificed in the heavier parts but it was big and sounded great.

I then checked out episodes 5 and 6 of Game of Thrones Season One.

Hadn't seen this in years. A beautiful and sobering look at an impulsive teenage relationship. Not quite up there with Bergman's best but still superb.

Watched: the Castle (of course for Australia Day)

Bloody great film, always find myself coming back to it every now and then. The picture was decent for the age and budget of the film but it certainly had a lot of film grain, hardly a clean film but a huge overhaul compared to the DVD. The sound like the picture was much improved and since to mainly the fronts in actions (very vocal orientated), the surrounds were hardly used.

I did plan to watch many more films this extended weekend up unfortunately I've become quite ill. I think drinking a bottle of Jim Beam and falling asleep in the spa for many hours did it to me
WTB:
Standard Blu's: Finding Nemo (non 3D with slip), same for Brave. Cars 2 3D with all discs. Disney 3D releases (G-Force, Chicken Run, Little and Meet the Robinsons etc.). Beauty and the Beast Xmas with slip.
