Not sure if there are any NEW extras other than the isolated score. However, including extras, other than the isolated score, is a departure from their previous stance on Sony titles. TT has previously stated that they're not in the business of making new extras other than the isolated scores that they specialize in. Extras included are:

• Isolated Score Track
• Audio Commentary with Filmmakers Randal Kleiser, Douglas Day Stewart, and Brooke Shields
• Audio Commentary with Filmmakers Randal Kleiser and Christopher Atkins
• An Adventure in Filmmaking: The Making of The Blue Lagoon
• Trailer and Teasers

They're also working on retaining previous extras for their upcoming Christine release.

So it appears they just ported over the original features from the DVD. It's better than not having them at all.

From what I understood, in the past, it sounded like Sony had a policy to not license out previous extras. Sounds like they might have reconsidered given these new releases have the extras included.

Yeah it's definitely a good thing. That being said it looks like their policy of not allowing new extras still stands so we prob. won't be seeing any Sony titles from Scream any time soon unfortunately.

So Cliff, everyone is asking about Motel Hell but what about Foxy Brown or a Pam Grier Collection or any other blaxploitation flicks for that matter? MGM owns a lot of the good ones. Any chance Shout has any interest in any of those? I would be all over a blaxploitation line!

If both a negative and a positive were offered to you, wouldn't the scanning cost be the same? If not, what am I missing?

Second, if you don't own a show, well, okay, so you license the rights. So, you are implying the owners charge a different rate to loan a positive for a scan versus loaning a negative for a scan? Could you give us a feel for the difference in licensing costs?

Any scanning costs more than doing a telecine film transfer.

Got a question. If money and ownership rights were not an issue, what one movie would you just love to have under Scream/Shout label and just go to town on? Of course your answer doesn't imply you do have the rights or anything, in fact it could be a film already released from another company. Just what one film would be a true labor of love for you to do and why?

I think your underestimating the fans of My Little Pony. I don't take it as far as buying the toys but I do enjoy watching the show. There's a reason there is an entire subset of fans called bronies and if you go to the first season dvd set on amazon you will see that the reviews section has a ton of comments about a potential blu release.

As a fan of animation in general MLP: FIM is just great animation and the story lines have things in there specifically for older fans of the show which is how it gained it's fan base. Cmac I have a question:

Why did you feel it was okay to release SD sourced materials as a Blu Ray?
Mind you I am speaking about the Jackie Chan double feature.
I expect better from Shout, perhaps I was wrong to do so.
