Might be a little longer before I purchase this. Amazon has increased the price to $24.85.

If you're waiting for Amazon to drop their steep price, you can order this now at DVD Empire. They are running a 20% off everything sale for 2 days. This title is $18.15.

I ordered from Amazon, and I should receive it this week.

I have this puppy on the way. A seller on amazon had it for $21, including shipping, so I grabbed it. I am looking foward to receiving this as well. I have already seen the film in HD and can't wait to see some of the new extras.

Watched A&C Meet Frankie last night. It is steller and still incredibly funny even after all the years since its initial release.

PQ is exquisite - very clean. I did notice a few small specks that pop up every now and then, but they are few and far between.

Very fun movie and a vast improvement over the old ray DVD.

FYI if you are near the Hollywood area and want to see this movie on the big screen. Graumans Chinese Theatre is playing it this monday night October 8th at 8pm as part of their 85th anniversary 25cent movie series
you can buy tickets at their box office in person or online via their website, though online they have a service charge.

Its a DCP presentation and the chinese theatre has constant height masking that draws in for Academy Aspect Ratio so no pillar boxed presentation.

Default Picture ratio

I was a little disappointed that the picture had the black boarders around it, and there was no option to change it. It does look fantastic, but I would've liked full screen.

This is presented in its original aspect ratio. There is nothing wrong with the 'borders' on the sides... they're actually not borders. They're just unused portions of the screen because this isn't a widescreen film.

I still don't understand why Universal screwed up the opening credits (reduced size) on A&C Meet Frankenstein but on the Universal Monster Box ALL of the titles are correct size OAR's. Makes no sense to me.

It's too bad this isn't $10 anywhere. Oh well, Columbia House seems to have the best deal at $17.54 shipped (using 10% off code). I might order from them.

I got a $25 Best Buy gift card for my Birthday from my Brother. With shipping, it only cost my $2. So I'm pretty happy to finally have this one in my BD collection. Picture quality is superb and it's great to be able to view this one in such a great presentation. I was also super stoked to finally get to watch the documentary, "Abbott and Costello Meet the Monsters" on here. Been wanting to watch that for a while now. Hopefully soon I can order Volume Four of their collection, then I'll have most of their stuff.
