...recommendation? Something that works on an Ultrabook like Lenovo Yoga and Macbook Pro? Thanks.

I have an Asus externall that works on an Acer netbook. Reads using one port but requires two to write due to power. The model is no longer available, but it looks like newer models should work as well.
