WTF are they thinking? Before I get a billion responses that the "average" gamer has no need and will not notice the differences, keep in mind this is suppose to be "elite" not "average" gamer.

How can they alienate their entire existing customer base by releasing an updated system with HDMI component basically saying "yeah this is better", and not go with the most current version of the connection? Talk about half-assed..
