I was all set to do so a couple of weeks ago had the camera out on the coffee table but can't find the battery, I think Carlos Santana may have taken it and hid it somewhere in the unit. One of the things that impress me the least in the new Condo is the living room space, I will get around to it sometime but it's a smaller space than I'm use to and everything in it now seems oversized for the space - ie the Wall unit & 61"tv audio rack etc

Great to read that your dealer is holding the sale price for you on a new CC till you're ready to buy in February. It would be nice if more dealers were accommodating like that. To me its good business practice as they satisfy a customer's need, and have now also assured themselves of repeat business from that customer. That's how you grow a business.

I've not heard the Sennheiser HD280, but the reviews are solid, so I'm sure you'll be happy with them. Let us know how you like them!

Hey there John I guess you have an early day today or are you off? Yea I'm happy that the dealer was able to do that, this way, I can pay off the CC and have another 30 days interest free for the CC.

The Senns sound ok, only played around with them for about 10 minutes before leaving for work, have a problem though I get sound from both the speakers and the headphones when they are plugged in I've posted the question in the Anthem thread here and over at CAM and fired off an email to Anthem tonight to see if I can get a resolution to this. I have already thought about a workaround that should work if I can't get a proper solution to the problem...

Kinda defeats the purpose of headphones, doesn't it!. Never heard of that happening before though. I do know that with some cans you really have to make sure they are plugged in, and sometimes require a little extra effort.

Hopefully Anthem will come up with a solution not requiring me to send my receiver in. In the meantime since, due to space constrictions, I am only using 5.1 at the moment so I'm going to try using Zone 2 to power the headphones...

I think I found the solution over on AVS, I'm using the Rotel to power my 2 Synchrony mains bypassing the MRX usual speaker output, I should simply be able to turn off the external amp - Will give it a try when I get home...

Confirmed with Anthem that the headphones do not cut out the speakers connected to the pre-outs. When I am using the headphones I just need to turn off the amp - all is good. The new Synchrony center channel should be arriving tomorrow...
