What About Covering Walls With This Material?

Hello brothers

i have a question, this type of material is oke or not for dedicated hometheatre?

Silver Grey Black Stria Stripe Wallpaper





i m planning to paint ceiling and behind the screen wall with black flat paint

and this material is for side walls

the company told me: There is no silver in it like I thought there was. It is just black and grey. Unfortunately this paper does has a slight satin finish so it is reflecting a small amount of light.

what do u think?

First of all,that link don't work (here atleast).Secondly,whatever floats your boat.The issue of light is nonexisting I think judging from that picture.Don't need matt-black to cancel out lightreflection effectively.

My HT room is painted white,and although not perfect,I can't say that the small reflections in very bright scenes bother me.Wonder about painting it dark rustic red,but haven't bothered so far.

Well I like the stuff that is in the picture that you posted in the first post of the thread. The eBay link does seem to show it to have more silver lines, but if they are telling you its the same stuff then I guess I'd be fine with it. Your room, your theater, you'll have to make the call on that one.
