That issue goes away after you get your third party member. Before that, you really have no control over Esther. Later you get the ability "all defend".

Only thing you will want to consider are the Familiars skills since they keep them after they morph.

When it comes to your Familiars skills, you need to keep in mind two things. 1- Some of those end 2nd morph skills are learnable as your Familiars during his final morph. 2- Your Familiar is limited to 12 skills, thus you need figure out if you will even use the skills you are holding out for as your Familiar learns his 3rd morph skills.

Also, some of the final morph skills are learned very early on and are a lot more powerful than those ending 2nd morph skills.

Found out some info. Unfortunately you are incorrect above in bold. The guide in page 15 details the info. If you morph your first level familiar too soon, the second form will not be as strong. You must achieve it's max level before morph to get the proper stats. The trade off is a fully maxed character versus having an advantage earlier on in the game with a second/third form familiar.

The correct way to beat that enemy is to select either Oliver or Esther and choose Tactics: Don't Do Anything for everyone.

This causes your partner(s) to defend most of the time, particularly in that battle. If you need Esther to do some healing, just swap to her and do it manually when you know it's safe to do so.

Makes the battle much easier.

I chose to have her back me up. The majority of her time she was healing me or having griffy attack the boss. The battle wasn't too bad.

I think a physical version of the Wizard book should be sold alone, not only included in the limited edition

Found something today... I was hunting for a Toko (One of the highest Mag Att and Mag D Familiars in the game) and found a little secret that I thought I would share with you.

1st go to Ugly Ducking Isle, which is located here.

From here, hunt the Toko.

Now for whatever reason the Tokos on Ugly Ducking Isle will grant over 2k in experience. FYI- These little buggers like to run away from the battle within the 1st 5 seconds or so of the battle, so attack hard and fast in order to kill them.

Here is a Youtube vid I posted today as proof.

Tokos are located on all of the islands surrounding Ugly Ducking Isle, yet this 2k exp bump only works on that isle for some reason.

It's not only in the island. They're like in 1 or 2 other places. Can't really remember the exact names. IGN has a video that shows how to get 25,000 EXP from certain Toko's including one from the main island with the 2,000 exp. Here it is so people could level up with ease :]

There is no DLC in America except for those who bought the Wizard Edition of the game and that Guidebook.

About to pull the trigger on this! Just trying to decide if I should get from the PSN store or buy from Amazon and wait till Wednesday to get. I guess Amazon I would also get Griffin familiar so there's that too.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened...
