Boy Meets World-Have always liked the 2-part episode where Cory and Shawn chase Topanga to Disney World so Cory can tell her how he really feels.

The Dead Zone-The episode where Johnny helps the soldiers in Iraq and they believe they've caught Osama.

The Walking Dead-The episode where we finally find out
[Show spoiler]that Sophia had actually been dead and in Herschel's barn
. Just the impact of that episode and that reveal.
"Now the whole world's gonna know that you died scratching my balls!"
~James Bond (Casino Royale)~

"Oh, I'm not so bad...once you get to know me..."
~Agent Smith (The Matrix Revolutions)~

"Ah, yes...I was wondering what would break first. Your spirit, or your body?"
~Bane (The Dark Knight Rises)~

Seinfeld - The Betrayal. The backwards episode that went all the way back to the reason for Kramer's mooching.

Homicide: Life On The Street - The Documentary. The two part Sniper is brilliant but this just edges it for me. On a quiet New Year's Eve the detectives watch the footage Brodie is assembling.

The X-Files - Jose Chung's From Outer Space. Before The X-Files disappeared up its own fundament with ever more convoluted conspiracies and a cast who were obviously only in it for the money, it was a fun monster of the week series. Jose Chung's happily made fun of the programme with a story where no-one knew what the truth was but ended on a poignant, downbeat note.

Only Fools And Horses - Time On Our Hands. Britain's most popular sitcom packed was packed with memorable moments - Batman, inflatable dolls, the yuppy wine bar, Rodney's wedding, Del hang-gliding and many more but this episode provided the happy ending the audience felt the Trotters deserved

The Twilight Zone - Nightmare At 20,000 Feet. Great performance from Shatner

Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads? - No Hiding Place. A strong contender for the title of Britain's best sitcom thanks to immaculate performances from Bolam as misanthropic idler Terry and Rodney Bews as Bob, caught between middle class respectability and his friend. This episode has them going to extreme lengths to avoid hearing the result of a football match.

Doctor Who - Dalek. The Doctor's Wife is close but Dalek shows a single Dalek as a deadly threat and The Doctor terrified. Great ending and the redesigned Dalek looked really good (the iDaleks look godawful). "You would make a good Dalek"
"There's nothing wrong with Britain that impaling the Prime Minister wouldn't cure"

Eh, I never trust any episode pop-overexposed enough to have been in the Movie--Now, "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street", wow...Almost had that one memorized since I watched it as a kid.

If you want to save time, there's always the original 1997 version of TV Guide (back when it actually WAS TV Guide )'s list of the 100 Greatest TV Episodes of All Time:
http://web.archive.org/web/200710281...06/jim/tv.html

Although how they could pick "Fat Farm" and "Password" for The Odd Couple over the classic "The Odd Monks", where Felix and Oscar join a monastery for a week, is still an injustice to this day.
And no mention whatsoever of
- Honeymooners - Chef of the Future
- Mission: Impossible - Operation Rogosh
- Cheers - "The Motion Picture", "Simon Says"
or any episode of This Is Your Life.

And if you're some kid who only remembers Lost and Breaking Bad, well, they did a '09 list for that too.
http://www.imdb.com/list/mDwYpIpc8m8/
("Seinfeld: The Contest"?...Yeah. You could see what TV Guide had become by then. )

Lost- The Constant (with the Pilot and Ab Aeterno deserving mention as well)
Fringe- White Tulip (Peter was also great)
Doctor Who- Blink (although I'm also partial to The Girl in the Fireplace and THe Doctor's Wife)

I'm sure there are good candidates from some of my other favorite shows (Twin Peaks, Carnivale, Arrested Development, many others), but because of how long ago they aired (or, in the case of Arrested Development, the fact that I watched them in a marathon rather than live) I cannot recall any specific episodes.

I find that a rather weird choice.

Given what they have done on this show, the Limo Building was one of the more boring.

I mean crossing the English channel in a Toybota, Epic.
The Polar Special
The America special was LOL worthy too.

Obviously you're entitled to your opinion and I don't mean to try and diminish that. Just found it a little odd considering some of the awesome things done on the show.
