complain about our postal service... seems we're not the only ones in Europe... Fortunately my NR906 and Denon BD made it here in one piece and on time tonight made and placed SW2 line cable and power.

Just a little depressed over the slowness of the postal service. It's almost as if i need to do all the work myself.

Thanks Joe. Nothing can speed this up though. I asked and they said to wait. It's just the longer i have to wait the more i worry that it does get damaged or stolen.

Next project is getting some power protection. Maybe something like this one. Not cheap though. http://www.furmansound.com/product.p...04&id=SPR-16Ei

Thanks Pacman. Haven't acquired it yet though. But i properly will before the summer. Not many great 220-240V power conditioners around but Furman are some of the best i think.

I'll bet solarrdadd could help you find something affordable that would work well for you. $3,000.00 just seems like way too much for a power conditioner to me. You should be able to get something very nice for a few hundred dollars.

Nope not kidding. Well there are some rack voltage stabilizers but those aren't really made for ht use. The market for power protection seem much smaller here in western Europe than in the US.

As I told ya I go the UPS way for equipment that needs it, otherwise normal ITE filters, inside CE devices there's always at least a EMI filter and often a 270V (EU) varistor to suppress small voltage spikes, in my Onkyo there's one along with anti-surge caps on relays to prevent bangs due to inductive load switching (eh, a 800W toroidal... )

Right now first test of the new bedstand/laptop table.

Great looking setup you have there. Just got done watching Rocky ("no guards up") 3. Almost makes me want too start another workout today but one is enough i think. Strange thing is happening too my stamina after working out every second day for 7-8 months. Im getting weaker and weaker. Im guessing after training 12 month i'll need a wheelchair getting around the gym.
