Although, numbering doesn't always occur in order with when they are printed, so it doesn't always occur with the higher numbered prints.

Calling a print "top of the stack" aka, lower numbered, is sort of a running gag in screenprinted circles. Some people swear they are in better condition, some people swear those people are crazy.

They really like doing the "top of the stack" gag over on EB. :-)

The screens things seems to fit with what I see on the print, and it's certainly not taking away from the overall look of the print. So I'll hang on to it.

I'd still be curious to know how other people's prints look when they arrive.

I decided to keep it. I was going to replace it but I decided not to. I don't see myself ever framing the Looney Tunes series since I have one Disney on my wall already and a couple in queue. I may just continue purchasing the Whalen LT series if he produces them, otherwise they will sit in my flat-file until I decide what to do with them

Also, Mondo is really good about replacing damaged prints (whether from the screening process or in transit), they keep extra inventory in order to do so... these are the prints that find their way to their flat file sales (which I'm always envious of)...

I'd post some photos over on EB, they'll give you some feedback. I purchased one via a PB for my giveaway over there, so I haven't seen it in person.

I just unrolled it again and took another look tonight and they look like scuff marks (I think they have a more graphic phrase for it on EB) It could be from the first Mondo rolling or when I re-rolled it after looking at it the first time. I found a bright white spot on the dinosaur where there seemed to be no ink, and a similar spot in the foliage. Fortunately they are pretty small spots.

Just a lot of weirdness this time around with this print. Overall the print still looks great so I'm going to keep it. Probably just won't unroll it again until it gets framed Saturday.

Chub rub? It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Apparently gum eraser works well for removing them. You just kinda dab the paper. Link is here

Not too bad. The white speck would bother me the most out of all of the scenarios, but not enough to send it back.

I don't get worked up about little things like some folks do (glad to see I'm not the only one).

Post some photos of the frame-up! My Horkey - Jurassic Park is finally at the framers as well, will post some pictures by next week when I get it back.

PostersandToys.com will be offering the artist-proof copies of Ken Taylor's "Jurassic Park" Mondo print today (Wednesday) at 12pm pacific time. Standard has an AP edition of 46, they are charging $65, and the variant has an AP edition of 40 and cost is $90. If you are new to that site, I would suggest creating an account now as they will probably go fast since only a small amount are being offered, but people should be able to get one as they are good about releasing them at the time stated (12pm pacific/2pm central/3pm eastern). I guess I should have mentioned that even though Mitch mentions the size of a print run, it probably doesn't mean he has the entire print run available, in this case the artist proof copies. So there is a chance he had only a few to maybe half, who knows for sure, but the artist probably kept some for himself, etc. Mitch is a good guy and does a good job and generally doesn't make people wait all day for a drop but gives an hour window or an exact time.

I ended up snagging a Mitchell JLU Omar yesterday. Very excited!

My brother tried to score when they released all the multiple purchases back online, but no luck

In other news...G1988 has released their Oscar drops for next weekend. Some of them are pretty amazing! Hopefully Mondo will top their show and knock one right out of the park!

Finally...Carrie Fisher is going to be at the Calgary Comic Expo! I wish I had something star wars related for her to sign.

I am quite limited to what I have in stock that would have Carrie Fisher on it, but I think I have the single-sided Empire Strikes Back Special Edition Style "C" posters in stock and should have them at the show. You could always get one of those from me at the show. David Prowse will be at Vancouver Fan Expo the weekend before so I may sell out there because Vader is on that style prominently.

Had my Taylor JP and Ansin Tron framed today. Went to Hobby Lobby and it all went really smooth. The price was awesome, and I had a $40 gift card to chip in on it too. Glad to have the Tron going back up on the wall, it was in a tube for far too long.

Thanks! Went with the reflection control uv glass. It adds a nice chunk to the cost by its worth it in my mind. It's nice to look at a print without having to adjust your viewing angle constantly.
