I have some Olive Garden gift certificates. It didn't take long to find someone with a truck that was willing for a free dinner. Going this afternoon!

Best Buy advised me like 3x not to lay it down, as they're far more susceptible to the screens breaking and cracking.. I had someone with a truck come, and strapped it standing up.

actually it's the exact opposite. you want the glass facing DOWN... that way the back of the tv acts at a curve and supports the glass a bit more. with the glass facing up the slightest bump can cause that glass to crack with minimal downward pressure.

Glass should be up on a plasma. The weight from the pressure of the gas can push on the glass and crack it if facing down.
