I will say, I do like my picture sharp and my blacks dark but not to the point it is clipped. Projector shots are tough because everyone uses different monitors, resolutions and settings. I can see where your coming from because when I view my own projector shots on my iPad, they appear too sharp but when I view them on my 24 inch monitor, they look fine. We are all here to talk even if they are disagreements, as long as their civil. Good luck to you and hope to see some projector shots when you get it. Epson 5020 is a mighty fine projector
Love 3D technology and am addicted to it.

I like to do it so others can see what a good projector & screen can look like. Will watch another movie this afternoon, Not sure which one yet but will take some more screens. Thanks again.

Looking forward to your shots crazyBLUE.
I'll be obsessing over this thread for a few days. My Epson took a dump yesterday. Of course it had to happen on the weekend. 1000 hours in six months was a bit too much for it I guess.

![]() I used it a lot for watching TV shows and playing video games. I think I'll just be watching movies with the new one. Although, playing games on a big screen is really cool....

If you game on your projector, or if you use your projector as your main tv...hours rack up quickly. My old setup (Optoma HD70), I racked up the hours very quickly. Gaming has killed the first 100h for me already.
Now, because I have my 55" plasma upstairs, I don't do a lot of regular TV watching downstairs. But you know what guys. I know bulbs can be expensive, but enjoy what you have. put $10 a week away and before you know it you have enough for a second bulb. Plus the jealousy of our friends is worth it.
