shopping an av receiver now and have narrowed it down to 2

anyone using Anthem MRX500 or Marantz SR6007 with these have thoughts/comments or anyone with any thoughts in general would be appreciated.

I've heard nothing but praise from the MRX 500, I would go that route instead of the marantz.

another reason for me going that route is because the marantz had alot of issues back in the SR6004 days, I personally never trusted it.


oh and welcome , I'm really enjoying mine :0)

I was over to GE'S website and the new FF 5 sub is on it, says it goes to 12hz.
I hope it goes for professional review to see if that can actually be achieved?
That is something SVS doesn't do so that will be a huge achievement if GE has done it?

finally dumped my triton 2`s took awhile but they were terrible sounding speakers( sorry sonic )i mean sandy, everyone that listened to them thought they were terribly overrated, any ways bought a set of monitor audio mr7 a 800.00 speaker that everyone that has come over to my houseto listen too says they blow the tritons away, just saying as it is, don`t mean to offend anyone

You would have been better off with an 8 series. To each his own. I hope you really enjoy your new speakers.
