Default debating on getting rid of Final Fantasy Collection

I can't do this now but my come spring or something since School starts tomorrow. I have some PS1 games sealed. I have gotten rid of my FF posters so this would be all games I have and Final Fantasy VII Strategy Guide. However I am keeping my DVDs and BDs of Final Fantasy the Spirits within and Advent Children along with the Legend of the Crystals 4 OAVs on VHS.

The collection would be:
I am doing this from memory I don't have access to this at the moment.

PS2 phat without the i.link so not the very first launch one(i had that one it died)
Some of these are greatest hits I don't remember but I'm at school I can check next weekend So generally I think they are pretty much black label. the first one I bought was VII so I remember that being Greatest Hits.

[Show spoiler]Playstation:
Final Fantasy I and II (origins)
Final Fantasy Tactics
Final Fantasy Chronicles (IV and Chrno Trigger)
Chrono Crusade sealed
Final fantasy IX sealed
Final Fantasy VII (Greatest Hits) with Stragety Guide
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy Anthology (V and VI)

Playstation 2:
Final fantasy XII
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XI complete (hard drive, box discs and network adapter with discs)
Final Fantasy XI Vana'diel Collection
Final Fantasy VII- Dirge of Cerberus

and if I still have them I could throw in
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 for PS2
StarOcean the Second Story for Playstation with the Strategy Guide
Final Fantasy XIII for PS3

If I do decide to sell this would it be good all in one go? go to a gameshop or even Half price books or eBay or something. I want to get the most money I can since I'm not playing these or anything. I'll be switching to a new PS2 slim I have without the Hard drive and I back up the files on the slim PS3 I have so I don't really need the HD anymore since I stopped playing XI online like a long time ago.

Don't go to GameStop. They're very cheap when it comes to trade ins. My friend traded MW2 while it was still popular and he only got $10 back. Try to sell them at an independent video game store or eBay.

I wouldn't take them to a shop, they'll middleman you. I'd probably post them on ebay, you'd get the most exposure and some of those game will get a decent amount (too bad VII isn't the original, that'd fetch a good amount). You'd probably make more selling them separately but it's also more work.

Ebay I've seen copies of VII go for over $500 by themselves.

So put each game separately?

Keep the PS2 with Final Fantasy XI online and everything together? I think would be best or I could part out everything.

Selling separately may net you more as more will search for a particular game from the series that they are missing and might be unwilling to buy everything together if they already own it. Keeping the PS2 and XI together would be a good idea though because it would offer a larger incentive to the buyer.

I agree in that you will probably get a better price if you sell them separately. From what I noticed people get attached in a sense if it is one game they are looking for and will cause them to bid more. If you have them grouped together they seem to not go for as much since they see it as a lot and try to justify spending on them as a group and not individually, if that makes any sense to you.

Which route did you take if you don't mind me asking? Separate or Lot?

Maybe a sealed black label copy that was graded. In the end, OP, you would have gotten the most by parting it out online at trading communities (here or CheapAssGamer would have been a good way to go) but if you're happy with what you received, then congrats! It'd be hard for me to part with my Final Fantasy collection.

Did you have the Versus guide for VII or just the Brady guide? The Brady guide is lacking in comparison.

I didn't have much time to spend so I decided against online. Plus it was nice to have some cash briefly No only Final Fantasy VII original (PS1) maybe brady but its gone.

I don't remember exactly but at one point I had like $100 store credit but also I ended up getting rid of some other games so it was a couple of trips. So the exact total I really don't remember maybe over $200 or something.
