It's not happening. The Avs are not even negotiating any more. It's gone cold and there are bad feelings now between the two sides. Matter of time before he's traded. Avs sucked balls for years and when they finally have a *leader* and a great 2-way center, they waste him away for a 1M difference in salary. The same team that's overpaying the hell out of David Jones and Stastny. All the more impressive that Duchene took the bridge contract that he did, but he's proving himself and will deservedly cash in after his contract is up.

The team still has good future, duchene, laneskog, varlamov, hopefully Johnson can keep improving plus some young guys in the ahl still. It is really stupid that ryan will be gone. I want him over stastny every day of the year. Even a 1 year contract! Just get him, maybe things can work out. If not we better get a good dman for him

tough loss for the Devils Saturday night, losing 5-1 to the Islanders. After the nice come from behind win Friday night being down 3-1 after 1 period & beating the Flyers 5-3. I sure hope the Sabres can beat Pittsburgh today.

The explaination given to the Preds coach was that it was a pass back (because it went back into the zone off one of the Preds players).

This is part of rule 83.1 Off-sides.

Duchene has been so good so far this year. The training in the summer with crosby is paying off! He muscled the puck off of Weber tonight to set up a goal and it was just great. 200 million dollar defense.

It clearly bounced off the Nashville player lol not really a pass.
