I have the latest version. And, it takes a few tries. To get the correct number. And, I have 8 metal packs. For some reason. It says I have 1 in the app. And the app says I have zero iron pack. When I have one. This is on both versions (iOS & android).

But the number 1606? do you still get that?

Regarding the ironpacks and metalpacks, they are listed as empty cases and are not counted as a movie. The app uses the "unique movies" field from the movie entry. One empty metalpack (Muppets) was still saying it had one movie, but I changed it to zero.

Hey guys.. This is a great app but I have one issue. I'm unable to add any 360 games. I have about 30-40 and none of them worked. The barcodes do not show which game it is in order for me to add it. I also didn't see 360 as an option to manually search and add the game.

The reason you are not getting any hits with the barcode scanner is that the actual barcodes does not exist in our database. It is possible that the game itself exists but the barcode (UPC/EAN) is missing. The database contain a lot of US releases, but for other regions it is not as complete.

At this moment there are no search feature for games (Xbox360 or PS3) in the app, so you have to add games to your collection by using the collection feature on this site.

Ok, all of the 30-40 games I tried are US releases but maybe I'm just very unlucky

Most probably you have another edition (with a different UPC) compared to the one listed in the database.

I'm having trouble adding movies to the "movies" and "ultraviolet" sections. Everytime I attempt to add a movie, I only get the option of "?" when I try to choose a category. Any way to fix this? I'm using the iPhone app with version 1.0.9 Thanks.

This is a known bug/limitation. You need to perform an update once so that it fetches the collection categories.

1. In settings view make sure UV (or any other type of collection) is enabled.
2. Go to "My Collection" view and update.

Once this has finished you should be able to select a category when adding titles.

Registered and downloaded app today. I have an extensive Asian movie collection and less than 10% of them are on your database. My questions are

If I have an unknown barcode but find the movie manually, how do I connect the two?

If I have an unknown barcode and no manual search result, how do I add my barcode and manually add my movie?

Why can't I search for PS3 games manually?

Hi Pete,

The database has entries for the theatrical movies. Example: Total Recall.
If you do not find a theatrical movie you need to create it. On the page linked there is a link "Add new movie". This theatrical movie entry does however not link to a barcode.

You need to create either a Blu-ray or a DVD entry.
As you can see from the above Total Recall example, there are several Blu-ray/DVD editions. The blu-ray/DVD editions can store a barcode in the database. For US/Canadian titles the barcodes are of type UPC (a 12 digit number) while most other countries use barcodes of type EAN (13 digits).

You say you have found a movie manually, do you mean the blu-ray/dvd or the theatrical movie? If it is the blu-ray/dvd you need to make sure it is the exact release you have, in that case you can edit the movie and add the barcode. If there already is a barcode, do not overwrite it. You should instead clone the blu-ray/dvd and fill in the data from the edition you have. Make sure the country is correct, as it defaults to United States.

At the moment you cannot search for PS3 games in the app, as it requires a quick search to be implemented for the game data. It has not been prioritised, but will be added later on.

Yes, it will. It is actually done already, but due to other improvements on the todo list (push notifications), it won't be available for a while.

Hey, I downloaded the android app and tried it on an old motorola milestone (2.2). It works quite well, so many thanks for such a cool little free app!

Anyway, would it be possible to add an option in the settings menu, like this:

"keep your collection sorted by:" and offer the same sort criteria that the website offers? I like to see my collection sorted by label or by production date, or most recently added... to be able to sort it and even better keep it sorted, that would rock!

I've been using the android app since release without issue but now I'm having a problem. My blus were at about 300.or 301. I hit update and it went to 70 something. Update again and it went to 370 something, another update 100 something so I stop. A little later update. Over 1400 I checked my collection at one point and a chunk of them were duplicated. I delteted and reinstalled the app with no change. My Xbox collection was not immune either. I have a moto photon.
