Did a quick search and didn't really find anything.
Anyone have any info at all about going the in wall sub route? I already have a Def Tech supercube 1 and looking at a second sub. Yes, this is really my only option if I want a number 2. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. Anything. Thanx

There are plenty of in-wall subwoofers from very cheap to very expensive. Even Monoprice sells in-wall subwoofers that cost as much as movie tickets and popcorns for two.

First off, thank you Big Daddy for your effort and response. Took a little legwork on your part to assist me Yes, I know they're out there. I should have asked..... I did a search on "this" site and couldn't find anything. I saw zero testimonials or really any user reviews for in-walls on this site or anywhere I searched on the net. It looks like this option isn't too good. Everything is either really cheap, or an arm and a leg. I only saw a few in the midrange price ($1k) so not a lot to choose from. Does anyone have any experience with in-walls or heard anything good about them? This would be a blind buy seeing there's no one that I know that has one so I could take a test drive, nor anything set up in a showroom. I'm depending on the members from this forum.

Hello Koover, the real reason you do not find a lot of reviews is bcause in-wall subs are the hardest subwoofers to get right. All subwoofers react to the room they are placed in and if you pick a bad location to place your sub in-wall then you have wasted time and effort and you could end up with a lot of holes in the wall. In order to get the most out of an in-wall sub installation your best plan of action is to hire a professional who owns the right measuring equipment to identify the optimal place for the in-wall prior to cutting the wall opening. Hence the added expense to get it right is usually beyond most average buyers. And the buyers who have the budget to get it right would be the type of ppl who do not write their impressions on a public forum. Hope this helps a little.

I agree, which now solidifies my newest opinion that I'm not going this route. To spend this kind of cash and permenatly install in a non optimal position is just throwing money away. Theres only one wall it could go and that's it. So I'm sure I won't be doing this now. Your feedback truly helped. Since you responded, how would a SVS PB12-NSD blend with my Def Tech supercube 1? If I'm going to run a second sub, there's one possible spot where it can go. I don't want to give up on this yet so I'm REALLY reaching out. Or if you have the expertise on blending multiple subs, especially with my SC, a sub recommendation would be also appreciated. This goes out to anyone with an opinion
