It looks like NBC is in love with J.J. Abrams as there is another new show that he is heading that will be coming, initially in the form of a Pilot.

Alcatraz wasn't very good, but I've really been enjoying Revolution. It will be interesting to see how this show is.

Kinda sounds like a show from the 80's call Powers of Matthew Star..have to wait and see how this shapes up.

I give pretty much anything he does a chance, so this will likely be no different. Hopefully it turns out to be good.

So.... seven seasons? or just a really, really slow Season 1 that will get canned because they will try and drag it out too much lol

Lost- Amazing seasons 1-5, meh season 6
Fringe- Amazing seasons 1-3, good but not great seasons 4 and 5
Undercovers- Painfully bad
Person of Interest- Only watched the first season, it wasn't bad but didn't hold my interest because I don't care for procedurals
Alcatraz- Pretty average, but I kept hoping that it would blossom like Fringe at some point (which also started out as a case of the week type series but quickly became more interesting)
Revolution- I was really excited for this because I like a lot of Abrams' things and love Eric Kripke's Supernatural, but I hated the first few episodes. I might go back and watch the whole first season at some point, but the beginning did absolutely nothing for me.

So I'm looking forward to this (love Cuaron's Children of Men) and Wyman's new robot series (although less so for this because it sounds like a procedural), but I'm not getting my hopes up. I certainly hope that they are both good, because I need a good Abrams series to fill the void left by Fringe ending.

So, just a guess here, but I'm thinking JJ is of that particular age to have watched "Powers of Matthew Starr" on Friday nights when he was a kid?
