Well if nothing else I don't think the PSB center can touch the sound quality of the Verus Grand Center, but that's just me.

Well by price alone it SHOULD blow it away. And by sheer size. For the short time I auditioned it. I actually thought the sound was actuall empty and thin (might change with break-in) but the wife nixed the size of it. So if I were to keep the set I would have to get the forte center

My 6C went out a while back. Just recently sent it in for service. First they said they couldn't find it. Later that day they had it. A week goes by I ask for an update. Shortly after I get an email saying it is working properly. Shipped out 2.19, get it back 2.26. Couldn't hook it up until today, no sound. This is beyond frustrating. $ 61.08 to send it to Aperion and it still isn't working. It is not either receiver that I own, tried a cheap Polk and a Dayton audio center channel, they both work.

Heads up to others. Love my 6T's and my 6B's, but after this I wouldn't recommend them to others and their service isn't so hot. I sent an email so hopefully this gets resolved. These were purchased in 2009, so they still are under the Aperion 10 year warranty. Hopefully they make this right.

Do the drivers of the speaker move?

Use a battery and connect and disconnect the battery quickly and see if the drivers move.

Sorry to hear you think the service is not good, but I feel like I am doing everything in my abilities to help you, as well as offering to cover the shipping if you do need to send it back to us again.

It is a strange case, because the speaker most definitely worked right out of the box here, but again I will do everything I can to resolve the situation.

Jason, you have been helpful during the time in which you have responded to my concerns. The same can't be said prior to that. I believe an individual named Matt originally responded and then I heard nothing. I don't believe he is even affiliated with Aperion at this time.

I guess it's just frustrating because after waiting for the return of my speaker I am back to square one since it is in the same non functioning condition now as it was prior to shipping back. I'm certainly not pointing fingers or making any baseless accusations, just stating facts that I have a defective product and getting it back to a working condition have been taxing to say the least especially. I do hope this gets resolved shortly. Thank You.

I think it has to be an issue with the crossover. Drivers are working, but still no sound. All connections are in place, nothing loose, or disconnected.

Connect the speaker to the right or left channel speaker outputs of the receiver and see if it works. Go inside the receiver's menu and change the crossover and the speaker level and see if any of the changes make a difference.

Warning: Please turn the master volume down so that you won't accidentally damage anything.

After 2 days of looking and relooking at connections, turns out there was a faulty solder connection on the crossover switch on the back. Took me a bit of time but all is well. Still not sure how this worked when Aperion tested the speaker but I have no doubt that Jason Hicks did his due diligence. I am so glad my center channel in working once again.

Excellent, glad to hear you figured it out, sorry again for the hassle.

That connection must have been loose before and completely disconnected on the way back to you.

Excellent review Mrjack! Those are beautiful! If I would have gone with a box type speaker instead of the Martin Logan EM ESL's,I would have kept the Aperions.. They sound great and look great. The cherry wood looks awesome. Looks great in a well lit room like yours. I had gloss black. They are outstanding speakers!
