what is it with that raised middle section. I think it makes the whole SB look cheap.

That's where the Lenticular magnetic card will sit. Similar to the UK Life of Pi, French Hobbit 3D, and all the other German lenticulars (Avatar, Ice Age 3&4, Rio, etc.)

So those things are magnetic? As in, they come off? Is there normal printed art underneath? If so I might hate those less and want to get Pi. I always assumed that was glued on when I saw it in pictures, which made me hate it.

Yes, they are magnetic! Most of them, the art under matches what's on the card. Without the card it looks like an embossed steel with the border but no other raised parts.

I like them very much and have gotten as many as possible. They are some of the best looking steels in my collection. Avatar and Titanic look very nice.

I really loved this movie. It surprised me. Totally worth it, if you enjoy most family movies like Pixar and others...

Does anyone know how we can buy this if the companies don't ship internationally?

Hope that one of our foreign members setup a Group Buy or keep a watch on eBay after it releases. I picked up 1 or 2 on eBay for less than cost. Sometimes you get lucky

First Dreamworks animation film i've seen on steelbook.

The movie is absolutely fantastic. Best movie of the year for me by miles.

Its one of those that when you watch it at the cinema there is so much laughing going on that your sides hurt.

Yes, this and Epic Lenticular are on Amazon France. There might be a Wolverine Lenti coming out as well but it hasn't been confirmed yet.

Now that would be quite interesting to see, like you said, if it turns out to be true! This Croods is quite nice! Fantastic movie btw!
