Default MGM 90th Anniversary wish list?

So we're already getting 4k re-releases of Robocop, Rocky and Fargo next year for MGM's 90's Anniversary. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Mine are:

Silence of the Lambs
Hannibal
Body of Evidence
Dangerous Game (1993)

I'd love to see classics such as Witness for the Prosecution, Judgment at Nuremberg, Inherit the Wind, Birdman of Alcatraz etc. on blu-ray, but i'm fairly certain that those will wind up as either Criterion or TT releases.

Anyhow, this is a list of titles that I consider a realistic possibility for next year:

Pink Panther box-set
The Birdcage
Kingpin
Mississippi Burning
The Silence of the Lambs (4K master)
Eight Men Out

+ few more 4K upgrades (Escape From New York? Platoon? The Usual Suspects?...I don't know).

Ditto to that (and include Return too!).

On a related note, I'd like to see the remaining DePatie-Freleng United Artists cartoons on DVD.

Warner Bros. should be creating
"The Phantom Tollbooth" blu-ray via Warner Archive
(although it's already on dvd)
& the Tex Avery MGM cartoon collection dvd & blu-ray
via Warner Archive or TCM Vault Collection
& the "Pink Panther & Sons" dvd & blu-ray via Warner Archive,
in honor of MGM's 90th Anniversary.

& MGM should've take advantage of it's anniversary by creating
the Pink Panther cartoon collection blu-ray
& the DePatie-Freleng MGM cartoon collection blu-ray.

I think MGM actually owns that show.

"Pink Panther & Sons" was a co-production by MGM/UA, DePatie-Freleng & Hanna-Barbera Productions.

& since Hanna-Barbera (now renamed "Cartoon Network Studios") was now owned by Warner Bros., It could be possible for WB to put this show on dvd & blu-ray. & since WB already bought Turner Broadcasting (Turner owns many MGM movies & cartoons), it could be possible for WB to sub-license this show with MGM.

A Blu-Ray box set of the WB Marx Brothers box set with 7 films (5 of them originally released by MGM): "A Night at the Opera", "A Day at the Races", "Room Service", "At the Circus", "Go West", "The Big Store", and "A Night in Casablanca".

That would be the best thing for me.

Also a WB Blu-Ray release of "The Philadelphia Story" would be welcome too.

Great lists, with many I would like, but with the Pink Panther set rumor being out for some time, I'd want that FIRST out the gate. Seriously getting tired of waiting.

All the movies from your list belongs to WB, except the last six. Benny & Joon is already on blu, btw.

All of the movies I listed were originally MGM releases; they've only been owned by WB the last 2 1/2 decades. Thanks for the infor regarding Benny & Joon!

True dat, which brings up an interesting point. MGM may be celebrating their 90th anniversary but they don't actually own their own releases. Their back catalogue primarily consists of United Artists titles due to the early 80s merger. Hopefully Warner will recognize the significance of the anniversary and release some classic MGM films on their behalf (*cough* ON THE TOWN *cough*). I'd still welcome more releases from what MGM does actually have though, including that Pink Panther set.
