Changed the tweets, my crossovers were already upgraded. The oil can caps look just like that - metal cans about thre inches tall with wires coming out of them. I'm still using the stock woofers - still going strong! I also added some super tweets to add a little "air"

Good man!!!!!!!! You'll love'em! Too bad you moved them upstairs, I'd like to hear you opinion after a 2nd shoot out with the RF-7II's (even though the Corns already edged out the 7's in the first one )!

Pretty close battle. I do plan on luging them down for another battle with the x over now updated and the new top horns upgraded. I figure they deserve another shot to pull away. The bass from these corns is super natural. Love it!

I got these for the terminals in back. They fit perfect and work awesome vs what they have stock (banana or standard use). For $7.99 and free shipping its a nice upgrade.

I ignored what PWK said (CORNer or WALL placement) and set the CW's in a traditional style ...out from the back wall and out into the room. They sounded great in the regular audiophile config, but then I read a report on the CW's, then several more, and then I got a wild hair, I'll try what PWK said, put them in a corner or against the wall. I didn't have a second corner so I went for the wall......loving' it!!!! I turned off one pair of subs...don't need them, I don't need a sub at all with music (and no they don't honk ). Found out that moving them to the wall put them at optimum listening distance (greater than 12 feet)

I feel like an idiot, sorry for not listening to ya sooner PWK!!! This was without room correction, I'm going to take measurements tomorrow and see how different they are from my old position! Just goes to show you, everything doesn't always apply ...your mileage may vary!
I remember making this post - and I was so surprised at the bass improvement. But now after living with them like this, and flat bass response...I'm going to change them back and take a few measurements. I got rid of a hole at 800 hz by getting rid of a couple of filters - but under Ethan's advise I began to take measurements in different places - other than the sweet spot. I'm working on getting these to sound their best at any position. I'd like to see an acceptable graph at all of the couch seats - not just the sweet spot.

The CW's are big speakers and I mean BIG!!!! I'm going to put them into classic speaker mode (out from the back wall and just barely toe'd in). I've saved all of my old settings so it will be easy to go back if I so desire - but acoustics can be dangerously fatiguing and addicting. Enjoying the music and movies is the main thing, but now I'm stuck with getting back into the science part of sound (calculating wave lengths, stuff that I haven't use since Cedia and taking radio wave modulation and signal multiplexing in the Navy)!!! Maybe it will help to keep my mind sharp ...who knows ! However, I'll be glad when I can stop obsessing about these graps!!!! Curse you REW waterfall graph !!!!

Dog!!!!! This system is so, so straight - I've been scared by the L'Ville Cardinals train horn three times!!!! It sounds like a real train in my room!!! I also live close to a railway so I have excellent reference! (I said to myself, that train sounds too close - then I realized it was the system- didn't sound like it came from the system at all!) First time seeing LV at home in football.

Really scared you in the 2d Half, since it only went off once. Thankfully there were 2 other college & 1 NFL game on last night. Had 3 of my 4 tvs with games on at 1 time in my den.
