I have an older Kenwood suuround sound system, which does not support DTS. I have hooked up to it a Sony BDP-S301.
My understanding is that this particular Blu-ray player is not capable of decoding DTS-MA or Dolby TrueHD, etc... If I change the connection between my player and my system (currently a coaxial cable) to multichannel analog conncections, will I be able to take advantage of DTS-MA or Dolby TrueHD, etc... ? If not, what do I need to do? Get a new surround sound system? Thanks to whomever can take the time to respond to me. I appreciate it. |
