Foggy - I'm sorry but If you haven't even seen the film yet, then Any of your posts about it Not getting Possible ACADEMY AWARD nominations are pretty much pointless. Not just you, btw, but Anyone who says similar comments WITHOUT Seeing the movie (or ANY movie) in question, I'll say the same thing.

Ok, but I am certain about it, nobody is talking about, there is nothing floating around the film in terms of oscar buzz. I'd love to see some nominations around it (Especially since it written by Matthew Vaughan and Jane Goldman) Sure, I have an outsiders view, but name one time the quality of a film ALONE, got itself nominated.

4/5, just watched this last night, great movie. I remember seeing the trailer last summer but it just never came out and I waited and waited. Worth the wait.

The film premiered at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival in September 2010. Miramax originally announced plans to release the film in the United States on December 29, 2010, and it quickly began to appear on lists of possible 2011 Oscar contenders. I was so impressed by this. A very intelligent and well-made thriller. Jessica Chastain is simply wonderful here. With her roles in many films throughout 2011 (The Help, Tree of Life, Take Shelter, and this) I can say without a doubt that I love this woman. She's a true talent. Sam Worthington was great in this and at the best I've seen him. The love triangle between the main characters was surprisingly involving.

I originally wasn't even that interested in this but am so glad I saw it. Didn't think I'd love it so much.

I guess Froggy was right! Good job! I thought it was a decent movie, and very little negative comments can be made about it. It will be forgotten by most, however, and the fact that it didn't get any kind of award recognition in Dec., Jan., or Feb. will only strengthen that statement.

The Debt was another movie for me where in the beginning of my research, before I watched the film, I said to myself, yeah... that doesn't look so good. Then, I watched it... and said to myself, you're an idiot, that was suprisingly good.

I'll have to say that the beginning was a little scattered here and there, or better yet, all-over-the-place, as if the film fell to the floor but it didn't take long for this film to get back on it's feet and deliver a well told story.

Jesper Christensen was sickly-excellent... Sam Worthington and Marton Csokas were stylishly-good and Jessica Chastain, well, my chips are all in for her, she was extraordinary... BTW, loved her Oscar Dress And what can I say about Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, and Ciarán Hinds other than

Watched this tonight. It's been awhile since I've seen it. Loved it just as much as the first time I watched it. The cast is fantastic with Hinds and Csokas always piquing my interest. I totally forgot that Jesper Christensen was in this so that was a pleasant surprise.
