I mean come on... some people on here have like over 1000 Blu-rays. You need to be comfortable while watching these things
Do you really think that people with ridiculously large Blu-ray collections actually watch them all? Don't be silly.

If the average film is 2 hours and one never watches a single extra, it would take 2000 hours to watch 1000 films. If one watches 2 a day, 7 days a week, that would still take a year and five months. If one watches a more reasonable 3 films a week, that would take 6.4 years.

These are bought to be collected, not to be watched. Those people get pleasure out of having them on the shelf and knowing that they could watch them if they ever wanted to.

The problem with lists like this is that there's a difference between the films that everyone should see at least once and the films that should be in a collection. I tend to skip over collecting the films that I've already seen that I don't think I need to see again even if they're considered to be great films.

Or, I buy them, watch them and then resell them so I can buy something else.

Plus, tastes vary. I really do not need to ever again see "The Sound of Music", but to many, it's a very important film.
