I just bought a copy at Barnes and Noble today and noticed this thread.

What's this 96khz and how do I find out if mine has it or not?

There's no info about anything technical on the digibook itself.

...at least not that I can see.

My dad does.

But I already opened the package from Barnes and Noble.

...so I doubt they'll let me return it.

I don't think Barnes and Noble will offer a money-back return on a disc that's already been opened.

...am I wrong?

Anyone here have an experience that says otherwise?

And again, how does one find out if their copy is 96khz?

There's nothing in the book about it and nothing I can find on the disc menu that mentions it.

It depends on your receiver and player. They should tell you.
In 2007, I bought a PS3 for 4 specific titles; in 2014, half of them haven't been released yet.

Mine is the 96khz version!
Faster than a bullet from a gun. Closer to Heaven than to Earth.

2K setup: 65" Panasonic VT65, Onkyo TX-SR608 7.2, Oppo BDP-103 Region-Free, Jamo E850 fronts, E8CEN centre, E800 surrounds and rear surrounds, E8SUB subwoofer, Monster Power HTS-2600, 1TB Mediacentre, 500GB PS4, Cyron RGB LEDs. 50" VT30 and 40GB fat PS3 in the lounge.

4K setup to follow...

Think mines the 48 version ( bought from B&N).
My receiver only shows on the screen "TrueHD" my BD player only shows "Dolby TrueHD".

But my sony shows it as 48 on screen

Edit :
I was wrong , my copy is the 96khz version,
LG 47LW5600 (3D) (main room)
Energy take classic 5.0
Phillips 42" Full 1080p HDTV (bed room)
Panasonic BDT220 (3D)
Sony BD S350
Insignia NS BRDVD4 (Region Free)
Denon AVR 1612
Xbox 360...(2 of them with the kinect)

Yes, I saw it at Costco the other day, checked the price on Amazon and realized
how good a deal it was. Went back a few days later and there gone.
