Yup, it usually looks really fake.

And how about wet streets at night? Seems like every night scene, no matter where has just been rained on but rarely we see the rain. I know directors like the look of wet streets compared to dry ones but knowing that only reminds me it's a movie or t.v. show when I see it. Kind of ruins the experience.

The problem with objecting to absolute truth is that you can't say there's anything absolutely wrong with it.

No matter how grievous a facial wound might be, there will never be a telltale scar left behind in the next scene. Happens all the time on TV...I remember an episode of Smallville where Kristen Kreuk fell through a plate glass window, resulting in multiple cuts across her face, and yet in the very next episode, her face was typically flawless and unmarred. Only exceptions are moments where scars are a deliberate plot point (see the Comedian in Watchmen).

Can we please stop with the hysterical screaming woman in movies?

The only time it wasn't a nuisance was the scene in Airplane.

Those people had it right. Line up and let her have it for the idiotic screaming.

Kids with health problems that you can't exactly pinpoint what is really wrong with them but they are wearing watches that double as heart rate monitors are thrust into situations that they either have a meltdown or seizure from.

Usually they are brats and are coddled by their parents.

They are usually the cause of their own problems when shit is going down they usually have their face shoved in the camera monitor looking like this then the wrist watch starts chirping. They could avoid it if they just looked away.

Mine would be reloading shotguns when they did it two seconds earlier without shooting it inbetween.

Poor and super obvious CG backgrounds for driving scenes

annoying clicking and "cocking" sounds coming from any and every gun pulled out. Am I honestly suppose to believe that nobody who carries a gun - open or concealed, thug or law enforcement, doesn't have a round already in the chamber?

Or how about when someone is using a 6-shot revolver they are able to somehow get off 20 shots before reloading, or a shotgun that never needs to be reloaded. There goes the realism for me!

With 99% of hollywood movies having guns you'd think that there would be a professional firearm instructor on call to check these things over.

I was watching Hard Boiled the other day, and I swear nobody reloaded in that movie even once. It was ridiculous. Still love the movie though

Can't watch urban night scenes without noticing the obvious gloss of fresh watered down streets for reflections on shots.

I dislike when actors drink out of cups that obviously empty, and try to act like their thirst is being quenched. I would prefer they put some sort of fluid in the cups or containers...
