The old set. You need the one in the Cardboard Case if you want all of the old Bonus Features.
Or, you need to get the movies individually if you want the 4k remasters.

Looking for the following:
- Game of Thrones: Season 1: HBO Shop Bonus Disk
- DigiBooks of the following: Exorcist, 300, Willy Wonka, Alexander, The Bridge ot River Kwai, Falling Down, Alien Anthology, Goodfellas, Cinderella, Dark Knight Rises
- Star Wars: Episodes 2 & 3's DVD Bonus Disk
- Star Wars: A Musical Journey Bonus DVD
- 2004 DVD Return of the Jedi (WideScreen)

[Show spoiler]

But every other time that I've seen the old set, the included blu's looked like this:

Any idea why the cases appear to be different in the last picture I posted?

Same disks, just updated artwork to coincide with the first Amazing Spider-Man movie hitting theatres.

I picked up the Target Exclusive Trilogy set at FYE a few weeks ago during their big 75% off clearance sale for about $3.74 each, if I remember. Hard to beat that price.

The blu spines are for the trilogy set. The ones you have appear to be the regular release version packaged together in the trilogy box. Discs are identical though.
SLIPCOVERS WANTED:

Disney's Princess and the Frog (Yellow Border), Whisper of the Heart, Batman: Under the Red Hood, Harvey(Universal 100th), Babe(Universal 100th), Observe and Report, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Big Short

PM me if you have any offers, and please take a look at the For Sale section in my collection, I'm trading blu-rays for slips

Why not both?

EDIT: Means more multi-disc cases anyway.

You're getting incorrect information from other posters who aren't aware of what you're talking about. joenostalgia23 had the answer, it seems to be the individual versions of the 2007 releases that had differently colored cases bundled together for whatever reason, as opposed to the 2012 re-releases. The content should be exactly the same as the "blue spine" trilogy set from '07.

I remember the DVD and the first Blu-Ray looked really bad VFX wise and could see the Digital VFX stand out very clearly against the physical aspects. How does the 4k VFX look? Are they more seamless, or do they stand out even more?

What's exclusive on that and what's the cover look like?

Goldranger,

I've never seen the first Blu-Ray release
, only the DVD and now the 4K version

I guess I'm pretty lenient
I think they look pretty well integrated
, as per a movie from 2002
Looks cool to me

Not very informative am I ? Sorry
I can say that the 4K Spider-Man Blu-ray is beautiful ,
rich and sharp
According to my aging eyes
Sounds pretty darn great too

I think the only time I really notice anything funky is on an animation front :
Such as when they ( Spidey and Goblin ) move like they are made of jello , no bones
Goblin on his glider at the parade comes to mind

Also, Never liked the stiff mannequin Spidey close-up when swinging through the city after saving Mary Jane for the first time

And
Could someone please edit that strange slo-mo shot of Mary Jane right after they kiss and he webs up - it's very short but I can't stand it

Yeah, that was horrendous! And easily noticeable! So distracting, even in the Cinema!

Both come with UV I believe

By the way, I've answered my own question about the commentaries
Seems there are 3 different commentaries included on the 2012 Spider-Man disc

Spider-Man 1 has so many awful one liners from Dafoe, I love it.

FINISH IT

The trilogy set is now only $11.92. While it's not the 4k remasters, I jumped on these. That's a pretty dirt cheap price. Couldn't pass this one up.

I never got around to upgrading this again- from anyone who knows, how much of an upgrade is the picture/sound for 1 & 2 in the 2012 releases/box set, as opposed to the 2007 releases? Not talking about the 4K versions, and I'm aware 3 is the same everywhere. I heard "1" was an improvement, but "2" was actually a downgrade due to compression from less disc space, but don't know for sure.

I loved the first one when it came out. saw it 5 times in different cinemas that day!
Second came out and it was ok. Of course, I had the ending ruined for me. Even without watching the cutscenes, the damned game spoiled the reveal with MJ yelling out Peter's name every few seconds. And I tried to take my time with it. That was a short game!
Then the third, by this point, the errors of the movie character of Spider-Man had become very apparent with many multiple re-watches of the first two movies. This really wasn't Spider-Man. It was Mumple-Mouth, the P-whipped loser.
The third movie was just terrible. Forced retcon with Sandman. Topher as Venom. Tobey's "acting."
I keep almost buying this set, because of the price. But then, I remember how bad all three of these movies are and I stop myself.

$9.99. That was worth it just to make fun of emo Spider Man from 3 again.
