no idea if they will still have them but Stafford HMV store had several copes of the steelbook when i was in there last Friday.
I dont mind poppjng in on Monday if anyone further afield is after a copy (if they are still sold out online that is) - think they were 15 or 16.99 so would be selling at cost + p&p (ie not for profit)
PM me if you want me to try for ya.

I must admit i was a tad disappointed considering the cowl was more expensive than the batpod model for TDK.
still, they do look awesome side by side.
Just a shame there was no model boxset for Batman Begins (That i know of)

So... Does the whole "glue issue" still persist or is the Trilogy safe to buy now? Getting glue off steelbooks is one thing, but getting glue safely off cardboard? That's a challenge!

I had no issue with the glue, just slowly peeled it off. Didn't damage anything.

Same here no issue getting it off, couple of blasts with a hair dryer loosened it up just fine.

What's different about these then (except for the cool pictures on the covers)?

i'm assuming nothing, more than likely they'll be the same discs.

Zavvi, Amazon, Sainsbury's and WOWHD are all selling them. Cheapest seems to be from Sainsbury's.

Does anyone know what Sainsburys Entertainment are like for sending steelbooks? I'd pay the extra £2 per film if Amazon turn out to be better.

I guarantee this wont be the end of it - there is the deluxe boxset coming out later this year?

Im happy with the existing boxset myself even though the new steels do look nice.

I agree, I have the boxset, which I adore, and as much as the steels are incredibly tempting, I'm going to leave well away (though I will probably regret this decision later).

I'm tempted by the steel, because I have the first two flicks in steels from Canada.

But ... I'm not sure I like the new steel for Rises — I thought Bane was too much the focus of the film as it was, I don't want him all over the cover as well!

I have the limited edition steels for Batman Begins/Dark Knight and the HMV steel of Dark Knight Rises. I pre ordered Batman and Batman Returns steels today.
