The JVC has better over all picture quality and colors are brighter. I have owned one since they first came out and love it. The downside is, if you wish to shoot in the highest quality MVC format with it you can't edit and burn those files to a bluray unless you use a program like Edius or Power Director 10. But the quality is top notch!

I shot these using it with the Cyclopital adapter and a macro lense.

Thanks, those were basically unedited and just thrown together in 10 minutes to make that short video. I will use some of those shots and some new ones on a movie I am making.

The JVC is able to produce some amazing 3D footage and is the only 3D cam besides the expensive Panasonic Z1000 that lets you control so much.

Yeah the color is very rich and I love the depth and definition, really looks nice. I bought a Bloggie3D last year to play with, still a lot of fun for the size however the video resolution on 3D is not that great, depth looks good but the lenses are pretty close together, it causes some pics and vids to appear kind of "cut out" 3D.

I'm debating buying another 3D camera this year, no interest in a camcorder.. well I'll rephrase that, I would love to have one to mess with but I can't afford to buy a toy like that right now.. :P

Any recommendations for a camera?

Debating the Fuji finepix 3D, bulky but it really produces some classy 3D.

You'd love the Fuji W3, it takes some really nice 3D photos with great depth or popout. I am still amazed after owning mine for over a year at the 3D quality glasses free screen it has. It just looks amazing

You can find cheap 3D video cams now possibly on Ebay like the JVC or Sony. Here in Japan they sell the JVC and Sony ones on Yahoo auctions very cheap.
