Yeah, I was very surprised. As far as I know, Lionsgate has simply been using the same content for their re-releases. The Jersey Girl EB release was a rare one for them that ported over all of the DVD extras, so it seemed like a logical conclusion that they would be here for this release. Oh well, I have the DVD for the features.

The EB Blu-ray only has one "Roadside Attraction" featurette, the intro and four others were dropped behind the fridge at Miramax's new offices.

The major changes to the long/director's cut of JERSEY GIRL are in the first 1/3 of the film. There's A LOT more to the Affleck/Lopez romance, which was viciously eviscerated in the theatrical cut due to "Bennifer" fatigue and the failure of GIGLI. There is an addition to the very ending, but not "15 minutes that take it into a different direction" at all. The vast majority of the new material is in that first 1/3 of the film.

I've seen this set called 'Affleck Brothers - Triple Feature' at my local Wal-Mart and can't find any information on it.
Anyone know if it includes the Echo Bridge disc with extras?

It's only 10 bucks, worth a blind buy.
My Top Seven Films:
1. The Thing
2. Picnic at Hanging Rock
3. Raiders of the Lost Ark
4. Zodiac
5. Jaws
6. The Fugitive
7. 2001: A Space Odyssey

No, it's the Lionsgate releases of all three movies.

Just saw this, if you ever read this could you possibly elaborate on what the extra scene at the very ending is? Very curious.

And shocked to hear the Lionsgate release removed all the extras, I guess I'm glad I have the Echo Bridge release (said no one ever).

Received my copy yesterday and was surprised... no frustrated to find this... A barebone re-release...?!!!

Now I have to track down the Echo Bridge edition (which is very expensive right now) or a DVD edition

EDIT: Found a brand new DVD copy for $3, that will works... Still a shame that Echo Bridge has a best Blu-ray while Miramax is the edition to avoid... Quite uncommon!

Affleck imagines himself dancing with Lopez and his daughter in the bar at the end. I haven't seen the final film in a while but I think its just him and his daughter in the final film. That's the only change at the very end, all other major changes are in the first third of the film detailing his relationship with Lopez's character.

Chris
