Any chance of them doing a three-pack? Have the 2nd or 3rd film ever made it to Blu before?
The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.
What is real? How do you define 'real'? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

No and no..

I find it's likely that the 2nd and 3rd will be a 2 movie combo pack sort of deal. Similar to what they did with the Cinderella & Little Mermaid sequels..

They typically don't announce the Diamond Edition release dates till around April or May.

It's not bad, its just that I'm not used to it.

Or maybe what I'm really trying to say is, though I may be over exaggerating, is Aladdin being taken out of the Vault?

At this point it's all speculation. There are also rumors that Disney will include newer films, like Frozen or Tangled in the new collection after the Diamonds are done. We should know more next year after Pinocchio is re-released.

Again, I may be over reading it, I know it's kind of on the "B-chord" Vault like Fantasia and Alice. But I thought they would put an end to that with this release. It's obviously going to make a lot of Money. Hell I'd bet my left foot it becomes the highest selling Diamond Edition Title.

I am currently making my way through all the Disney animated movies. Just finished watching Mermaid, Beauty and Lion in 3D. It is such a shame they are not releasing Aladdin 3D as well. Would have been great to have at least those four in 3D. They did such a spectacular job on the other three.

I understand the love/hate debate for 3D but on a large TV at home it runs rings around a shoddy presented theatre any day. I am lucky I have a 64inch Sammy plasma. Tangled and Frozen were sublime.

Are there going to be any differences with this and the UK release? I got that last year and was wondering if it would be worth it to double dip.

Likely a few new bonus features (but I wouldn't expect a announcement of the features till April or May).

Not being rude, but shouldn't this be deleted or merged with the other thread since it's been confirmed since 101 Dalmatians came out with the trailer on the Blu-ray?

Excellent news!

I was actually looking at my CAV LaserDisc edition last night. Can't wait to pickup the blu-ray! I hope they include the 30-min 'Making Of', which was released on VHS in the US and LD in Japan. It's not the best Disney documentary, but it would be nice for it to see the light of day again.
