It seems like either way you'll be fine. The two discs containing the two cuts are exactly the same on both releases. Only difference is the new edition comes with a bonus disc with two new features (none of which seem like you would die without). I haven't looked at the booklet included with the new edition.. So I can't really comment on that. However, if digibooks are your thing.. the previous edition is worth checking out; its simply beautiful

How is it better? Aren't the discs identical?

I've been following the thread for weeks, but I don't see how the Digibook is "better" than the new version. Besides price(when I bought my 40th, it was cheaper than the digibook) and packaging, the new version seems to be the same exact disc as the digibook except with more extras. If there were any issues with the disc that I missed, I'd like to be alerted.

The last few pages of posts seem more about the packaging and differences between the cuts of the films.

too bad i cant buy the digibook from wb since im in Canada.

still not sure which version to get, leaning more towards the digibook, for price and book reasons, although, i really love the cover of the new version.

It's a speculative entry that was created at the end of March. It does not currently exist.
