My copy arrived today, but oddly enough the back of the disc is filthy and is scratched. It still might play fine, but I'm not paying $15 for a disc that isn't pristine even if the price is reasonable. Kind of sucks that this ships out of nowhere and now who knows when I'll get a replacement since it's not in stock.

I'm guessing Amazon only ordered enough from Warner to cover their pre-orders.

There's a hula hoop hole joke in there somewhere...definitely NOT "For kids!"

What does your spine look like? Mine just says "The Hudsucker Proxy" with a blu-ray logo above and a WB logo below.

Seems they made the spine artwork is too thin. Putting it on the shelf, the spine is about 80% black with some of the front cover leaking on to it.

I wouldn't really say that qualifies as an error, it's not uncommon to see a little bit of the color of the front on the spine when the two are different colors (looking at my collection, I see the same thing on The Dark Crystal and Crumb, for example).

Sorry, dumb question: What is EE? I tried googling it to no avail.

I notice that the movie is only 20 GB, only 40% of the capacity of the BD. Surely the artifacts would be much reduced if they had output to a larger file size. I thought maybe it was a copy of an HD-DVD master, but it was never published on HD-DVD.

Edge Enhancement. Here's an article from the DVD days which explains it in-depth:
