Yep. Might have to agree.
Fassbender would be a fine choice.
James McAvoy might work if they go a little different .
I dont think Luke Evans has what it takes for Bond personally..

I always wish Guy Pearce had gotten the chance to play Bond but hes probably too old now.

Fassbender's a very good actor but he won't get the Bond gig. The only actor to become Bond who was ever maybe well-known beforehand was Brosnan, and that was because of a TV show. Fassbender's already got a franchise and an Oscar nomination under his belt.

They won't cast an actor with a notable profile. They'll want to be able to lock him in for multiple films and keep his input minimal for the first couple movies.

Michael Fassbender would make a good Bond imo.

He certainly looks the part.

True, except that Craig actually has had significant input in all the movies after Casino Royale (he essentially co-wrote QoS, but that was out of necessity). Basically they need someone who won't rock the boat during the first movie; after that, if people like him, he gets more leeway.

+1. Fassbender would be a brilliant Bond but I doubt it very much unfortunately.

I hate political correctness and the culture of victimization. Your situation is NOT my fault or the fault of anyone other than you. Take responsibility for YOUR life and stop blaming everyone and everything but yourself.

These speculations always add to the publicity before the release of a Bond film and they are almost as old as the series itself. Of course it wasn't his decision to stay on after all, as the article claims. He is bound by a contract he negotiated and signed.

Isn't that because of traditional conflict between Britain and Ireland (or Protestants and Catholics) and the fact that many Irish are red-headed? I would hope we've mostly gotten past that.

Speak for yourself! There is nothing better on earth than a cute redhead
Resolution is nothing without propper compression.
But 4k is the magic fix all, to all video problems ever.
The Scott Bros. do no wrong.

He wasn't speaking for himself, he was only confirming that there is "ginger hate" in the UK.

I thought it was "impossible" for him to return. I mean, isn't it common knowledge on set?

Ginger women are pretty well revered. I'm a ginger male though, and I've been picked on for it my entire life. Then I moved to the UK as an adult and went through it all over again.
