There, I corrected it for you, because no one could possibly be that

I agree, but only because I kinda want Colors on blu though. I don't think they fit together in any way shape or form, except maybe time period.

Pre-ordered this just in case the price goes up, and knowing no store here will carry it (maybe B&N, but they too expensive and toss out slipcovers now). I'm still up $3 from selling my dvd, time to go spend it all on dope!

This is as dumb as people saying they refuse to own Criterion's The Killing because they hate The Killer's Kiss.

If you don't like Killing Me Softly then don't watch it but please don't hate on a company for releasing 2 movies that would have never seen the light of day from MGM on Blu-ray. I will be happy as long as the transfers are fine and there are no issues, Now if Killing Me Softly isn't uncut then I could understand some complaining lol.

I will chime in with 1 little comment about the pairing, I think Killing Me Softly would have been better paired with Original Sin Keep the decades together lol
If you ask me to pay you via Paypal Friends/Family and you ain't my friend or my family the expect to be ignored, IT'S AGAINST SITE POLICY

I think having the same director would make for a pretty decent justification as to how they would fit together.

Up here there are a few chains that carry Shout titles, HMV, Sunrise, and Best Buy (Canada).

Here's an idea, Cliff: reversible covers for double features that highlight one movie as the feature and one as the "bonus." When I buy a double feature and I don't want one of the films (potential example: The Emperor's New Groove), it would be more pleasing to me if I could display it as the movie I wanted, plus the other film as a bonus. (This is why the Criterion example of The Killing doesn't apply.)

Perhaps that would be prohibitively expensive, but I think it would probably ease everyone's complaint if they had artwork on one side that spotlighted The Hot Spot and artwork on the other side that highlighted Killing Me Softly.

I think that's a great idea. With Terrorvision/The Video Dead, I don't think it would've worked as both could be seen as the main feature. But with this, the reverse could use The Hot Spot on the front and even put on the back that Killing Me Softly is included as a bonus. That would be great.

Oh man, not my day or weekend so far.
I totally forgot Hopper directed Colors, should've been someone more close to street gangs and it probably would've been a better movie.

I wonder with all the belly aching I read from members if they're taking an antacids for it. If you are a fan of the Hot Spot and it has a Blu Ray release, does it really matter that much what the other feature is ?
The answer is *no* because if the co-feature included is something you do not like, you simply don't have to watch it...or if its film that you've never seen before, here is a chance to try something new...or if you like the co-feature you have more icing on the cake. It's a win win win situation...
Anyone have a box set of movies where there is at least title one you dont like ?
I think we need to give both Scream and Shout Factory a lot of credit for releasing films that otherwise would be in the vaults long past our life span.
