People from the restoration team have said that it is coming in 2014 but yeah, I guess that confirms it even more

I think they're harmless. They're not being marketed as Peter Pan sequels. They take a character who is arguably much more popular than the story that originally featured her and develop a bunch of new story lines around her. It's fun. I haven't seen any of them, but the trailers look quite good. If I had a daughter who liked Tinkerbell, I'm sure I'd have a blast watching them with her. It's not like everything I loved as a kid was an artistic masterpiece.

I agree with you they are harmless entertainment and theyíre at least better than the DTV sequels. The animation is quite good and the voice cast is appropriate. The story is nothing great but Iím sure they are quite good for their target audience. Iíve seen only the first one and while nothing extraordinary, they didnít offended me as the cheapquels have. Havenít seen the other installments but I think they offer more of the same.

On another note, whatís everyones impressions on the next DisneyToon spin-off Planes?

I get now why Disney are pushing for Peter Pan instead of Aladdin with the Fifty Shades-craze going on. Their marketing team could reach a whole new demographic!

My friends wants me to introduce her to the power of Blu-Ray with Disney,

What do you guys recommend? I have almost every Disney classic.

Beauty and the Beast, I say. A stunning example of a great blu-ray.
I buy Disney DVDs and Blu-Ray, message me if you're selling! :)

I'd definitely go with the classic ballroom scene, it was even more beautiful with the newfound crispness of the lines in my opinion. Also the
[Show spoiler]transformation scene at the end, where Beast becomes human again
. I thought I'd wrap that in spoilers tags for the VERY unlikely event that someone on here hasn't seen the film.

I'd say the opening scene, right to the end of the first song. Stunning.
Even better if you can show 3D

Well... of course it depends a little on what kinds she really likes, but a couple of prime examples, I would say, are:

- Beauty and the Beast
- The Lion King
- Pocahontas
- Tarzan (wait for the re-release)
- The Princess and the Frog

And from the classical era:

- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
- Bambi
- Fantasia
- Lady and the Tramp
- Sleeping Beauty

All of these are great movies with perfect Blu-ray transfers!

Agreed. Also, you can't really go wrong with ANYTHING Pixar. I also like to show the last segment of Fantasia 2000, the one with the spring sprite. Some incredible animation and colour pop.

You should probably show her some CGI too. Like some pixar titles. Monsters Inc, Cars, and Wall-e look show a lot of detail. But actually any of the pixar movies have great pq so it doesn't really matter.
