II suffers from the same unstable moments as I but it's a solid transfer (again, for me personal). III looks really stunning compared to the first two. Yes there's a fair amount of grain in I & II but that keeps the charm of these 80's flicks, it's not troublesome.

AQ is acceptable on all three releases. It doesn't blow you away but it gets the job done. English DTS-HD MA on all 3 movies.

If you want the Dutch box ($39 excl. tax & shipping) I would recommend dvdoutlet.nl because they provide international shipping. But shipping can vary from 2 weeks to 2 months though. Shipping rates also differ from day to day so you'd have to contact them.

Or if you have family in Europe, you can have them buy it & send it to you.
I bought the German release & I must say i'm very pleased indeed. Just over £19 including postage. All 3 discs are housed within a single Amaray box. Beverly Hills Cop Audio was okay but 2 & 3 were far greater due to the crisp tone. Picture Quality on all 3 were great but like your collection 1 & 2 had grain but it wasn't off-putting in the slightest.

The ratings logo is half the size than normal on this release (it's smaller than the logo on the German cover pictured a few posts back), because it doesn't have any writing to the right of logo outlining the nature of the content.

I do not know if its region free. (No region symbols on the case or disc. Perhaps someone else could confirm it.)

Is this one of the Paramount titles Warner has acquired? If so, I'd love to have it as an individual release.

I didn't test region C, but it played back when I had my Oppo set to region A.

Thanks Cevolution.

I have just watched it. Great looking transfer, nice and grainy. AQ is pretty good too.

Are Par's German releases playable in the US on a non-Region-modded player like Universal's? (I have the German The Bourne Ultimatum Steelbook; plays on non-modded BDP-93 no probs.)
