Mike Myers finishes "Wayne's World 3" script - Blu-ray Forum

Back in January, Carvey said that everyone would be reprising their roles in the new movie. And this pont, it's not clear when we'll see "Wayne's World 3" or "Austin Powers 4."

It's a bit late for Waynes World 3 now. A lot has changed since then but it can work...

it seems like that is gonna be the basis of the story in the movie.

i love the idea of them moving from cable access to the internet.

I'm excited for this! Love the theme of the movie. Totally bridges the gap between the last movie and the industry now.

Even if it were true, I'm not sure it could work. I think Wayne's World was a product of it's period and not sure if it could stand the test of time, sequel wise.
Now I could maybe see another Austin Powers movie.
Let us not forget how time was not to kind to Indiana Jones.

In your opinion it wasn't. Some of us actually like 'Crystal Skull' though and thought time was very kind to Indy.

Myers and Carvey are probably getting too old at this point anyway. A film that comes out now would probably end up showing Wayne and Garth as losers living in the past, which (as someone who admired them) is really not something I want to see.
