Yeah, that's terrible. Wasn't a big fan of their quality anyway. Blu steels all the way.

Congratulations, Matthew Halls of SBC. Instead of getting my order for 100-200 cases (or any other future business), I will now go elsewhere because my $ isn't good enough for you and you can't be bothered to go on backorder for a bit. Heck, I think I'd rather let my steels go naked than give you my money.

And from their website, this is complete crap:

Well here we go again - if there are other places that have similarly sized boxes to SBC's, I'll try those but otherwise mine will just sit on the shelf.

if they're naked steels (no paper, j-card, 1/4 slips, lentis or slipboxes) go with VGBP. if they're not naked, anything up to a lenti should fit in one of the sleeves from RetroProtection. i can't really say past that as i don't own anything thicker than a lenti so those 2 places suffice for everything i have.

I only order from VGBP, they have been totally reliable, for each order of any increment I've purchased.

If I look for anymore I think I'll be looking at VGBP or something. Won't be going back to SBC.

a little off topic, but i wish the term full slip would die and they would call it what it is, a slipbox. for slipboxes, i don't think either VGBP or RP has anything that will fit, but for lenti slips/quarter slips i'd go with RP and naked i'd go with VGBP.

The SCF2's are pure crap imo. I don't like the way you have to get stuff in and out of them and none of my Blufans except for Pacific Rim will even fit in well.

Still waiting on my Blu-steels order but I think I'm just gonna stop ordering from SBC. Not very impressed. Blu-steels needs to make a side loader style Blufans size protector.

Can't wait to see how the Blu-Steels look. I don't remember seeing photos of those yet but maybe I missed them.

A Blufans-sized side loader sounds like a great idea.

Wall-E fits fine in the SCF-2s. Transformers was snug (mine is open). They're too big for the likes of Rio, WiR, Star Trek and the likes. the SCF-1s are too small for them.

I've got an order coming from RetroProtection.com to see how my Nova/Kimchi Lenti's fit in those.

I need to find something for Frozen UE. That think is a beast!

Nice. I may try them if I need more for my bare/paper steels.

I got my order from RetroProtection.com. My Nova/Kimchi lenticulars do slide in a little easier than the SCF1s....but only if they're open. I could not fit in my sealed NovaMedia Dark Knight Rises Lenti.

What I did love about these is my Blufans Up, WiR, Face Off and Rio fit in them perfectly. Star Trek and Jack Reacher fit in, but the tops would't close all he way.

All my 'in hand' Blufans. Bigger cases are SCF1s, smaller are from RetroProtection.com

You can see Jack Reacher is a little too tall for the case.

Same with Star Trek. Tiny bit too tall.

Going foreward, instead of SCF1s, I'll be getting my cases from RetroProtection.com. They feel nicer and are WAY easier to put them together. Separated with tissue paper instead of completely protected with a film. It's nice the SCF1s are protected but when you ordered 100, it takes a long time to unwrap each one. That and the fact the NM/Kimch Lentis fit in just that little bit better.

Does anyone know if the SC6's are a good fit for Frozen UE? Is there a US seller that has something that large?
