To be fair though, he's simply called 'Trask' on IMDB, NOT Bolivar Trask, so they could be explained away as having a similar name

I don't like the character of Trask anyway, there's going to be enough mutant hate in Days of Future Past without bringing him into it. Just hope Singer can give us another really good X-Men film, even if I disagree with him taking over for another director.

I think if the movies going to have the sentinels play a big part in the future, then it stands to reason they HAVE to include the creator Trask. That actors pretty funny in some of the roles I've seen him in, so I fully expect the role to be played something like what he did in 'Elf'

They could just have Senator Kelly be the mastermind behind it, he was mis-used in X1 anyway.

But shouldn't the guy actually capable of making them and is responsible for them in the source material be used? I mean, it's being faithful. I get you don't like the character in the comics, but maybe the movie version might be different

Be nice if they used someone that actually looks like the character then, instead of a tiny person that might take people out of the movie in every scene he's in.

I wonder if they are going for Trask having a Napoleon Complex -- and that's why he designs the Sentinels so BIG.

Lol. Yeah, but I prefer when they do it in a grounded, yet outrageous megalomaniac representation. I really hope his role does have a tinge of dry humour in it.
