Try not to get depressed at the fact so much has already come out in the last two magnificant years, leaving 2013 to probably end up being the worst year for Blu-ray.

After reading through this thread, I guess that we could see who can go the longest in 2013 without buying a new Blu-ray. Sort of like a Seinfeld "Master of your domain" type of thing. Of course, that might defeat the logic of this site altogether.

I've got the Universal Monsters set coming to me in the mail. After that, though, I'm not purchasing anything else until Ivan's Childhood is released in late January. I got off to a rocking start with my collection by building up the essentials, but I can coast along now on cruise control.

I'm going to start keeping a detailed log of all the Blu-rays I buy starting in January so that when it comes time to make and end-of-the-year top 10 list I'll remember to include movies I bought early in the year. I never seem to remember anything I bought before June

Pretty much just watch what I own...which will be hard because there are TONS of movies lined up for 2013 that I am getting and I know Ill be renting movies as studios release more and more catalog titles - Im talking the Warner Archive movies that I havent heard of, the Olive Film titles that I havent heard of, the Scream Factory horror movies that I have heard of but havent seen...

I was thinking about that. I have never sold anything online so I'm a little skeptical on exactly what to do. I'm sure it's pretty easy but I started looking at it and it seems people have had problems with people not paying or whatever.

Easy way to fix that. You get the money first and then send the stuff. And if they say they'll play but they never do. Just move on to the next person who wants it, or re-list it. Might seem like some bad people on here, but for the better part everyone's good.

mine isn't strictly blu-ray but I've decided to try and watch 365 movies this year that I haven't seen before. That should take a good chunk out of my unwatched blu-ray shelves and also out of my netflix queue. I tried to do the same thing in 2011 and only got to about 310.

Stop buying everything I want just because it is in sale. Got too many last year, about 250.

Limiting myself to 13 this year.
