Item is now showing as deleted on HMV site. Looks like they pulled this one out to all their stores like DKR in the fear of losing profit from the 20% code. Ridiculous really!

It doesn't state on the site or the front cover but I would have bought it if the original Expendables is the Directors Cut! I might just go for the French Metal Box!

Just got back from home to find this waiting for me. Quite a nice steel actually - haven't seen the film so it might be complete garbage, I just had the first Expendables steel and wanted to complete the series (so far...)

I hope there's a US version. You guys overseas are so lucky. We get crappy steels most of the time.

It wasn't until recently that we started getting them. They seemed to come out of nowhere and have been released ever since.

It's funny because, when I first started collecting DVDs, you guys seemed to have so many better releases - much more special features and just overall better quality pictures etc - and now some of you envy us because of our steelbook waves.

Still, you do have Criterion Collection and I would love their releases

Just looked through the list of movies and it was just, eh to me. Nothing that I'm interested in.

Yeah, they're not to everyone's tastes - they focus more on releasing important and influential films than mainstream ones, so they might not interest or entertain everyone.

I've just purchased the Expendables extended version Blu Ray. I know there is a steelbook but I prefer the cover art. I'm going to purchase the standard Blu Ray expendables 2 to sit beside it.

With this in mind - I have decided to sell my Expendables 2 HMV steelbook. It will go for the HMV retail price (the sticker is still on there) I won't sell for profit.

If anyone is intersted just let me know.

I think it was still there but who knows what will happen now. You'll likely be able to pick it up in store. I believe it was the same price.

It was OOP before HMV even sent the very first copy ever to one of its customers.

I hate to be the anal one here, but ALL STEELBOOKS ARE OOP BEFORE THEY ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!

There is a limited print made and that is that. Before they ship to retailers they are "out of print."

Perhaps the term "unavailable from retailers" should be used instead?
