For those of you who just invested in a new glasses-required 3D TV, I'm very sorry: http://www.electronista.com/articles...d.tvs.in.2010/
Why you should wait to buy into 3D: http://www.pcworld.com/article/19093...t_glasses.html AND HERE: http://www.electronista.com/articles...d.tvs.in.2010/

Yep..it looks like they're rushing these sets out faster than I thought. No price announced and I haven't seen them in action, but I guess you were right..They're coming this year. When you buy one, let me know how it performs.

Oh no.... next time around, it'll be a 1080p projector... 3D or not.

Hopefully, these Toshibas aren't garbage. No glasses tvs would go a long way to shutting up the haters and giving the casual folks something to really buy into. I'd be more confident if it were Panasonic releasing these though hehe.
Unless I'm mistaken, a projector will always require glasses. |

3D graphics using three-dimensional representation of geometric data that is stored on your computer to perform calculations and represent 2D images. These images can be stored for later viewing or displayed in real time.

There will likely be a prototype this year, but it'll be a long time before an autostereo display will be viable for a home tv. Tv companies had been working on current tv's for years as well, just because something is bieng worked on does not mean it'll be out any time soon. Though I would love to be proven wrong.

Nintendo 3DS doesn't require glasses... soon we will see tru 3D without having to spend gazillion on glasses. 3D sucks for now tho.

Hilarious to see people arguing about imminent release of glass-free TV's back in 2010!!!!

From my own experience, my friends who knock 3D are those who can’t afford to buy a 3D set.
I have both 2D and 3D and I really enjoy action movies in 3D |
