For MLB, you have the save on your PS3, and you manually upload the save to the cloud every time you're done, where you can download it to your Vita (and vice versa). It can get rather confusing when you don't remember which console has your latest save on it.

For MGS, you start by syncing your save to the cloud, which means that if you're playing with Internet connection, you're always playing FROM the cloud save, so you don't have to worry as much, since you're more likely to be playing the most current save. Not sure if that makes sense.

Does "Transfarring" cloud saves work with using the 3G internet?

That's a good question. I have the Wifi version, so couldn't tell you, but I'm curious to know.

Yes, just upload your game save on Vita onto the cloud, and sync on the PS3.

thanks a lot! I just tried and the trophies started poping! I unlocked a lot more trophies on the vita than on the ps3, so it was nice to double them!

No problem. It's a great feeling when they all just start popping up one after the other, isn't it?
