This is probably a stupid question, but what is U&S?

Take an old DVD you don't want anymore and get a $5 coupon to use towards any blu ray $9.99+.

Rescue 3D was pretty cool, that's only 14.99. The scene with the fireman on the ladder of the firetruck extends right out of the TV and into the living room, pretty awesome shot. Lots of gorgeous views. There are other shots though that seemed amateur, very strong parallax outwards causing a lot of focus to view the entire picture, kind of strenuous at times. Overall I wasn't upset with the purchase, for the price it's legit:

Resident Evil: Afterlife is usually cheap and is must own. I got Dredd for 19.99 (not sure if it's still that price) and it was really good. If you can get Madagascar 3 for 19.99, get it.

But Resident Evil Afterlife would be at the top of my list to get.

Just don't expect anything gratifying from the story. They are absolutely nothing like the "original" games.

The OP didn't ask for gratifying story, he asked for best pop-out effects for under 19.99. But story or not, this is a gratifying purchase because it's an amazing 3D movie that is usually priced well below the 19.99.

the lorax is good for that, i don't know how many times but i noticed it quite a few times.
the movie however is really hard to sit through, not worth a buy but if you can rent it for a 1 time view for the 3-d.

madagascar 3 i was satisfied with... a few times things came right to my face and i'm like 8 feet away.
(i had my blu-ray player set to pop level 4, the highest it can go though.. not sure if that made a difference on how far it went).

I've realized that 3D isn't about pop outs as the in-store demos would have you believe; it's more about depth. This could be a disappointment to some, but if this is your expectation, then you'll enjoy 3D a lot more.

That's good to know. Makes me want to buy a dedicated 3D bluray player in addition to PS3.

Is there a movie that has a popout that comes inches from your face?

Someone should go through every page and post a list of these movies.

journey 2 where dwayne throws the spear it went through my head, i had to move my head to the side to avoid it aha.
also when he was doing the peck dance and some of the berries were bounced off his pecks they came out pretty far but not as far as the spear.

in madagascar 3 when the monkey shot the banana guns some of the bananas went right up to my face.

a rock in wrath of the titans went right up to my face.

the lorax had a couple, hands reaching out and stuff... it wasn't right up to my face but close.

there's been a few other scenes that i can't recall but i remember popout right by my face, over the 10 or so 3-d movies i've seen so far i just don't remember the exact scenes, i know people say it's a gimmick but i like me some popout.

The needle in the front of Gru's Space Ship (when it lands) comes really far out into the room, but it's not in your face.
