It would be helpful if you could provide any source that would give Need for Speed a Native-3D status. Arri Alexa cameras don't cover CGI and articles state that the film is a 3D Post-production conversion with the film that "doesn’t appear to rely much – if at all – on CGI". Link
Waugh, himself describes the movie as a "Stereo D" post-conversion". Link

Anything to the contrary would help the confusion. Thanks.

I just double checked and you are correct. It is a 100% conversion and has been removed.

Transformers: Age of Extinction should be in there.

First Hollywood feature to shoot with Digital IMAX 3D camera (Dual Phantom 65 Gold) and the RED EPIC Dragon.

The Phantom 65 in 4K 3D and RED EPIC Dragon in 6K 3D.

The rest of the 35mm Anamorphic should be post converted, just like Dark of the Moon. Pending confirmation from some documentary.

This list generally takes down all the movies that were produced natively in 3D. Doesn't matter it's already on Blu-ray or not.

We take it that most of the 3D movies produced today will eventually make its way to Blu-ray. We just take note of it here lest we forget about it. The worst that could happen is we take it off the list later.

Are these only for Region A? If so, I don't think Streetdance and Streetdance 2 apply. If not please integrate Bleedorange 11's international list (post 98). To that list, I'd add the Mortician (Der Sezierer)
Camera 3Ality Technica Quasar 3D Rig
Red One MX
Silicon Imaging SI-2K
Negative Format CineForm RAW
Redcode RAW
Cinematographic Process CineForm RAW (2K) (dual-strip 3-D) (source format)
Digital Intermediate (2K) (master format)
Redcode RAW (4.5K) (dual-strip 3-D) (source format)

and Box Office

Camera Red One MX, Zeiss Ultra Prime Lenses (ET QUASAR 3D rig)
Negative Format Redcode RAW (4.5K)
Cinematographic Process Digital Intermediate (2K) (master format)
Redcode RAW (4.5K) (dual-strip 3-D) (source format)
Printed Film Format 35 mm
D-Cinema (3-D version)

there's also the domestic Experience Montreux 3D, Planes, Dr Who-Day of the Doctors, Amityville 3-D, Verdi's Aida, Ocean Predators, Polar Bears, the AIX titles, Pat Metheny-Orchestration Project, Simon Rattle and Berlin Ph. in Singapore, Metallica Through The Never, Khumba, Nurse, Stalingrad Battle of the Year and the Flesh and Blood Show (10 minute segment)

Yes, this is for any region where a 3D BD has been released and was shot in 3D.

That's because there won't be one. Disney is no longer releasing 3D on disc (in the U.S.)...only streaming

Let's not jump to that conclusion yet. They've just announced Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 3D BD combo pack. I'm more likely to believe Disney is dropping DVD from their combo packs for good in favour of digital copies.

But let's discuss this elsewhere. Let this thread serve its intended purpose.

OK. But even though they're now owned by Disney, Marvel remains a separate entity. However, it is rumored there might still be a 3D release for NEED, Nothing official yet, of course

I hope to see Need for Speed 3D Region A BD too.

I understand your Marvel/Disney argument. For now, it's just Frozen and NFS that's given this treatment by Disney. Let's see the next few Disney/BV releases if they're doing something with 3D BD. Hopefully, we can get a big time Blu-ray site to raise the alarm on this issue.

FROZEN, and THE PIRATE FAIRY and NFS. Well, fingers crossed for the latter.

I think making distinctions about which ones are primarily native and which ones are hybrid would be good. Gravity, for instance, is almost entirely a conversion because of the high difficulty of filming it.

I decided to include 3D BDs in the list that have even a small portion of native 3D content. Immortals is an excellent example as only the effects shots are native 3D.
