I have the UK blu ray and it looks AMAZING, but I am with you I am also would love a ultra collector edition box set and if I am not mistaken their was one released I think in Japan, it is beyond ****ing retarded that every region has this blu released except here in the states!

Star Trek: The Motion Picture: The Director's Edition can't be done on Blu-Ray is what Paramount says! I don't believe it It's the best edition of that movie! Not too boring, but also not too exciting, but I will never buy the Blu-Rays of the Original crew until they know they're going to lose money, because some of us know how to take that wait and see attitude!
